Federal disease control experts and leading eye doctors have formally concluded that ReNu With MoistureLoc from Bausch & Lomb was the only contact lens solution contributing to an outbreak of potentially blinding fungal eye infections earlier this year. As a result, Bausch and Lomb has put out a recall on the solution. ReNu with MoistureLoc has found to cause Fusarium Keratitis, and eye infection that can cause eye pain, eye discomfort, decrease in vision and light hypersensitivity. In some cases, surgery may be needed to remove lesions or eye ulcers.
